STRAIGHT-A STUDENTS

These five kids living in my neighbourhood are always straight A's; it’s nuts. First, we have little Zhiming, the valedictorian of the class, who can solve an equation before you finish reading it aloud. Then there's Alisha, with her photographic memory of all the historical events, and you would not believe this kid can spell multiple words in a minute. Next up is Arjun and his ridiculous vocabulary—don't go against him in a spelling bee, trust me, unless you want to be embarrassed—and after him is Emily, the science girl, who makes universities look silly with all the advanced physics she can do with her tiny hands. Last but not least is Haziq, the great tech guru; he can code circles around any two-time hacker. When they partner up on a group project, they create magic. Or, their collective IQs combine into some kind of unstoppable force! Or could it be that they all had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch before they studied? Who knows!
