PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY
Damien has an uncanny photographic memory. Ask this guy any random question about historical facts, such as the number of English Premier Leagues, the first manned spaceflight, or even a simple one such as the weather in 1774, and you will get an unbelievably precise response faster than you can google it yourself. It is literally faster than any device known to humans. Do you know that it is difficult to have a simple, ten-minute conversation with him?
Yet it seems as though it has its own foibles: his photographic memory lets him rattle off every single point on a map or unerringly recite every line in Memento, but if you ask him where he put his car keys or what day it is, he’s as clueless as the rest of us. It’s almost like the dude’s hypermnesia has a sense of humour, playing tricks on him in everyday life situations. I guess even superheroes have their kryptonite, right?
