THE INFLUENCER

Fendi is a social media influencer, and in his spare time, which is essentially all the time, he films and webcasts, day and night. We’ve gotten used to seeing him crop up with his camera in every corner of town, and it’s become almost a punchline: ‘No matter where we go, there’s Fendi with his camera!’ It’s weird, but it’s also kind of cool. Like, who has that much energy? But here’s the weird part, man: he never takes off his Ray-Bans, not when it’s nighttime, not when it’s raining, not even when he’s inside his own house. Does he have a disguise, man? Or is he allergic to the sun? I dunno, but that guy makes me feel like I’m under surveillance. In spite of the singularity of his tic, you have to admire him for producing content on a regular basis and interacting with his audience. That's not an easy thing to do. Perhaps one day we’ll know the reason behind those sunglasses.
