Imagine you are in a local music store, picking one random stand and put
on the most hideous headphone in the place ever.
Because you are
having a day, the ridiculous song does not seem to get into you. In fact, you
could sway your body along the awful rhythm. If you were on your normal days,
you would have pointed, 'Whoever thought this CD should be put on demo, ought
to be fired.'
But you are not being you.
So instead, you are thinking of giving a bunch
of kisses and flowers and unicorn stickers to the same idiot just to thank him
(assume it's a guy, because you're a straight woman) for making your day.
Because he really is about to make your day.
Because when a man whom probably is sharing the
equal bad feeling as you enters the store, he chooses your stand. Thankfully.
You feel his presence. You look up. You find him;
his profile, his eyes hindered by those accessory glasses, his smile when your
eyes meet, and his thumbs up after sixty seconds having to listen to the same
song as you are.
You start thinking: 'Oh boy! This man has a good
taste in music. Perhaps we're made for each other.'
For the next two minutes, you actually forget just
how you ended up in this store, carrying a big gigantic dark cloud right above
your head, which is invisible to others, but you have your fingers crossed for
him, and only him to see it.
