PROLOGUE
Ramadan in Johor Bahru was always lively. From the colorful rows of bazaar stalls to the bustling shops selling festive preparations, the atmosphere in Kampung Melayu would come alive. Children ran around with small firecrackers in their hands, while mothers busied themselves preparing dishes for iftar.
But that year, something strange happened.
It started as a rumor—several kuih vendors reported that their stock of Raya cookies had mysteriously gone missing. Pineapple tarts, semperit, batang buruk—all vanished without a trace. At first, the villagers assumed it was just a case of petty theft, perhaps the work of mischievous kids unable to resist the temptation of food while fasting. But as more and more shops fell victim, and the missing kuih suddenly reappeared for sale elsewhere, people began to wonder: who was behind all this?
Amid the growing commotion, a group of friends—Aiman, Badrul, Johan, and Din—felt that something wasn’t right. They weren’t just curious; they wanted to investigate.
“What if we solve this case ourselves?” Johan suggested eagerly.
“Huh? Since when are we detectives?” Din frowned.
“You never know! Ramadan is full of surprises.” Aiman grinned, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
Little did they realize, this mystery was about more than just stolen kuih. Their investigation would lead them into a much bigger conspiracy—one involving secrets, business rivalries, and unexpected revelations.
And that was how it all began.
