"Hello," Marina answered the phone call she had just received.

"Hello, Marina!" Dr. Fendi's voice came through.

"Oh, Dr. Fendi!"

"How are you, Marina?"

"I'm good. Just got in the car."

"Where are you? Seranas?"

"Nope. Still in Pasadianka. Just left the office."

"Aren't you supposed to go to the convention in Seranas?"

"It's been postponed until next week. Where are you now?"

"I'm at home."

"Why are you calling my phone? Is there something wrong?"

"I wanted to ask about your father. I've been trying to contact him, but I can't reach him."

"It seems like he's at home. Have you tried calling the office?"

"I already did, but no one picked up. I actually have something important to discuss with him."

"Have you tried calling his cell phone?"

"I already did, but the number is not in service."

"Oh yes! His cell phone number was just changed. I forgot to inform you."

"That shouldn't have happened. It's okay though, I'll send you the new phone number."

"All right, Marina. You can send it later."

"Can..."

"So, you're on your way home right now?"

"Yes, I am."

"You came home late. Who are you with?"

"Who else? I'm alone."

"It's dangerous now, Marina. Be careful. Lately, there have been all kinds of cases happening in Pasadianka."

"Don't worry. I know how to take care of myself."

"All right, Marina. I need to get back to work. I'll call you again soon."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye."
